Inhalation anaesthesia
When needed, our facility provides an effective and safe non-invasive inhaled analgesic that has a rapid onset and reversal of action. It is a ready-made mixture of two medical gases, more details will be provided by the medical staff. The mixture has an analgesic, mildly sedative (sedation) and anxiolytic effect (removal of the feeling of fear). The patient is conscious for the duration of the inhalation.
- The inhaled analgesic is effective for suppressing the fear of dental treatment during the procedure.
- Aplikace je snadná a bezbolestná. The product is applied using a mouthpiece or an inhalation mask. The patient inhales the medical gas with the help of staff. The full effect occurs after about 3 minutes of inhalation, after this preparatory phase the doctor can proceed with the procedure.

Therapy with the Vector Paro system
Sonic and ultrasonic instruments are becoming a common alternative to traditional hand instruments in the treatment of gum disease and periodontitis. Our new Vector technology improves this therapy.
Vector is the result of more than 20 years of research and innovation in periodontal therapy. It helps keep teeth healthy, promotes regeneration and improves patient comfort.
- It removes the tremor that can cause gum irritation.
- Allows treatment of the periodontium with linear ultrasound using the Paro attachment.
- It directs the ultrasound energy precisely to the treatment site, enabling clinically effective and atraumatic treatment.
- Ensures effective and gentle treatment without loss of root tissue.
Intraoral scanner Trios 5
Our clinic currently uses the latest and most advanced generation of intraoral scanner from the Danish company 3Shape. The scanner replaces the unpopular imprinting of jaws with impression material.
- Scanning is faster and more convenient than printing, the whole process takes about 15 minutes on average (depending on the scope of the work), so you will no longer have to wait for the modelling material to harden in your mouth.
- The result will be an accurate 3D model of your jaw. During the scan, you will see the progress of the scan on the TV in our office (we can also send it to you after it has been created). This technology makes working with our lab faster because we no longer have to send physical prints. Instead, we send digital data directly, which is more accurate.
- Hygienic – the closed design of the scanning tip and the possibility to use protective sleeves on the scanner increase the sterility of the device and prevent cross-contamination.

Dental laboratory
The Podkovka Dental Centre also includes the renowned Art 42 dental laboratory. It can be found on the ground floor of the building and is staffed by experienced dental technicians with state-of-the-art instruments and equipment. Close cooperation between our dentists and the laboratory is crucial for successful and aesthetic work that brings patient satisfaction.
Thanks to close communication and cooperation within the same building, the patient is taken care of from the choice of colour to the fine finishes in the glaze with maximum comfort. All our work is consulted in detail with the laboratory and the laboratory consults the individual steps with us. We are thus able to fulfill all aesthetic wishes of patients on the spot for the patients’ peace of mind and comfort.

- The choice of colour, shape and suitable material for a new restoration is the basis of a job well done and leads to the satisfaction of our patients. Choosing the right colour is the most challenging part of preparing for the perfect aesthetics of a new restoration. Our technicians will be happy to advise when and how the paint can be used.
- after completion, the patient has the opportunity to test the restoration and discuss any discrepancies with the technician, who then completes this individualization directly with the patient.
